Class Overview: Strum & Shine: Ukulele Adventures for Beginners What Will Be Taught? Students will learn the basics of ukulele playing, including: - Introduction to the ukulele and its parts - Basic chords and strumming patterns - Simple songs and melodies - Reading ukulele tabs and sheet music - Techniques for tuning and maintaining the instrument
學習目標
Students will learn to correctly place their fingers to form basic chords such as C, G, and F, ensuring proper hand and finger positioning for each chord.Students will practice strumming each of the basic chords using a downstroke pattern, achieving clear and consistent sound production with proper strumming technique.

Students will need an ukulele tuned to the notes G-C-E-A (top string to bottom string, respectively). I can teach both students and adults how to tune the ukulele for the first lesson.

I have had the pleasure of teaching ukulele through an elementary school club, where I introduced young students to the joy of playing music. Growing up in Hawaii, the ukulele was an integral part of my life, and I was immersed in its rich musical culture from a young age. This background has not only provided me with a deep appreciation for the instrument but also a strong foundation in its techniques and traditions. Outside of teaching, I continue to play the ukulele as a hobby, finding it a delightful way to unwind and express creativity.評論
