This class will keep you on your feet, literally! Are you ready for an incredibly exciting learning experience? Well, I'm so glad you're here. Welcome to the dojo! This class is designed in a way in which ensures engagement, interaction, authenticity, and genuine fun-filled experiences are top priorities. The dojo has always been a second home to me. It is a place that has taught me so many character building skills. I can't wait to share all of my knowledge and passion with all of you. This class will be super interactive, so I can't wait to see your awesome skills, and discuss important karate-related concepts and ideas! Get ready! In this class, we are going to learn blocks and punches, whilst also working out. We will focus on resilience, determination, self-respect, and confidence building skills. Key terms and ideas will also be presented in Japanese. So, I have no doubt that learners will want to show their family and friends all of their awesome skills afterwards, and maybe even count in Japanese, too! My goal is always to provide a wholesome learning experience, where students can take the skills and lessons with them far beyond our course. No previous karate experience is required. See you in the dojo!

Students will learn the traditional karate blocks and punches, in a very interactive, fun-filled, focused, and positive environment!

Please ensure that students have comfortable clothing on, room to move around and jump, and water nearby! Students are encouraged to stretch beforehand. We will most definitely also be stretching in class, as well! Thank you!

There is no need to have any previous martial arts experience, as I am here to guide you every step of the way! I am a second-degree black belt and an Ontario-certified teacher. Thus, it's safe to say that my love for teaching, which started when I was 5 years old in the dojo, also led me to the classroom. I combine my educational knowledge from the karate dojo, soccer field (yes, I was a soccer coach, as well!), university, and the classroom, in order to bring every student the most wholesome learning experience. My classes will keep you on your feet, literally! It is an incredibly exciting time. I have a great deal of experience in tutoring and teaching, and look forward to bringing every student a very authentic, and engaging learning experience! See you in the dojo!
