SUMMARY OF THE CLASS This creative writing summer camp will have students learn the basics of how to be a great storyteller. We will be going over the plot pyramid or story mountain. Students will learn about the exposition of a story, the complicating incident rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution in this creative writing summer camp. They will also learn about different types of creative writing including random prompts, finishing the story, picture prompts, minimal...
In this creative writing summer camp, students will learn how to be a good storyteller and all the parts of a good story. They will also get to practice their storying telling and get feedback from other students.
Students will need something to write with in class and well as a device to access the class through Outschool and Zoom. If students choose they can type their creative writing on their computer.
