課堂經歷
This is a yoga-based class that is offered twice a week for 30 minutes. It includes warm up stretches, yoga postures with modifications to improve flexibility, breathing exercises to strengthen respiration and manage anxiety, mindfulness, and relaxation with guided visualization to help create more peace and calm in the mental and emotional body. Students will learn new ways to manage stress and have more peace and calm in their lives by identifying stress and using the yoga tools to balance them out. The yoga stretching will release tension & stiffness in the body and improve flexibility. The breathing exercises will improve lung function and be a tool to manage anxiety and emotions. And the relaxation techniques will bring a sense of peace and calm to their overall outlook.
Students need a yoga mat or non-slip surface, a blanket and if available, a yoga block and belt.
