課堂經歷
We will read, explore, and discuss How to Catch the Tooth Fairy. Students will then be challenged with building their own Tooth Fairy trap! We will learn and follow the Engineer Design Process (Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Improve). We will discuss how we can make our Tooth Fairy trap, choose materials to use, draw a plan, create the trap and test it out, and make improvements. Students will be encouraged to persevere when encountering an obstacle and to learn from their mistakes!
Students will enjoy and relate to literature. Students will learn about and follow the Engineer Design Process. Students will use creativity and ingenuity to accomplish a task. Students will persevere when faced with a challenge.
As a children’s author and illustrator, as well as elementary school teacher, I enjoy teaching young learners the process of creative thinking and problem-solving that is meaningful and reflects their own interests.
