This is a fun opportunity to tell and listen to stories and play creative drama games together. Our theme is "What would happen if something pretend became real?" The rest is up to you! We start class with a fun get-to-know-each-other warm up for bodies, voices and imaginations. Next, I will take suggestions for a story to start us off, and model a two-minute story incorporating all of the ideas. Each learner will have a turn to tell a story of their own. There are no required supplies. Some learners enjoy drawing as they listen and to generate ideas for their stories, so if you think your learner would enjoy doing that, please have drawing supplies on hand. Also optional: if learners would like to have a book to show the other students (please choose just one page or show the cover) or a toy to show as an idea for a story, that would be fine.
