Hello, and thank you for your interest in Storytime with Stuffies! Storytime with Stuffies is a 20-minute weekly ongoing class where young learners will cuddle up with their favorite stuffed animal and listen to a story being read to them! The class will be structured as follows:

1. Welcome and teacher introduction
2. Storytime: A different book will be read each week; some books will coordinate with special times of the year such as holidays and seasons.
3. Student and Stuffie Introductions (Show-and-Tell as time permits)
4. Goodbye

For the first four weeks we will follow the below schedule:

Week of July 4, 2022: Imani's Moon, by Janay Brown-Wood
Week of July 11, 2022: Sweet Summer, by Jennifer Marino Walters
Week of July 18, 2022: Fluffy's Silly Summer, by Kate McMullan
Week of July 25, 2022: Wet and Wild Waterpark, by Meg Greve

I teach and lead young learners in a calm and fun environment. My teaching style is to make sure each student has fun while learning. My primary goal is for each student to enjoy reading and to learn that reading for pleasure can be a fulfilling hobby. My secondary goal is for students to enjoy being in class and interacting with the teacher and other students. Students will be able to interact with me and other classmates during the Student and Stuffie Introductions (show-and-tell portion), but will be muted during the reading of the story. Please reassure your child that they may speak in class if they'd like to during the show-and-tell portion, but they are not required to speak if they don't feel comfortable doing so. No prior knowledge is required. \
