每週 1-2 小時. After the first class, you will be encouraged to work on shooting your photos for your video. This will make it easier to edit on day two. On the second after the second class, you will be encouraged to continue editing your video outside of class. Please come with any questions that you have. Discover the exciting world of animation and technology through fun, creative learning with Stop Motion! Our 3-day class introduces kids to the magic of stop-motion animation. Using the user-friendly Stop Motion Studio Pro App, beginners will master the art of stop-motion animation. Spark creativity, storytelling, and tech skills in a fun, enriching experience! IMPORTANT INFO: * The easiest device to use is an iPad or iPhone. * The Stop Motion Studio Pro App must be installed before class. * We are using the paid version only. Please follow the link under resources. It does have an additional fee. Class 1: * Learning about the Stop Motion Studio Pro app. * Discuss storyboards * Learn the basics of creating and taking photos * Learn how to edit frames Homework: * Students will be encouraged to keep creating their stop motion video after class. Class 2: * In-depth training using the Start Motion Studio Pro app. * Learn how to edit your video with a patient instructor who will use screen share in real-time * Create layers, fonts, backgrounds, faces, and more! Homework: ** Students will be encouraged to work on their videos outside of class to continue shooting their photos and editing their videos. Class 3: * Learn about the "blue and green screen" and how to use it in your movie creations. * Apply edits to your movie. * Learn skills to create fun movies. * Review techniques to become more confident in editing. * Students will be encouraged to share their stop-motion videos with the class. * PLEASE bring a blue and/or green piece of paper or fabric to class like a shirt to use for a background on the 3rd day. PLEASE NOTE: Students will need to have the Stop Motion Animation Studio Pro version of the app. The app can be found listed in the class resources. This app does cost extra. Students will be required to have a stop motion studio pro app to complete this class. The pro version has all the necessary tools to complete the activities. Please make sure the app is downloaded prior to class. The best way to take the class is to have zoom available on one device and a second device to take photos and edit your video. The easiest tools are iPhones or iPad.
Per the Stop Motion Studio App, "Your privacy is important. That's why we do not collect, use, disclose, transfer or store any data. All data is stored locally on the device. No data is transferred from the app without user consent (video upload). Our apps do not track the user and do not display advertisements."
Students will need to have the Stop Motion Animation Studio Pro version of the app. The app can be found listed in the class resources. This app does cost extra.

Students will need a second device. They will need to watch on one device and use the other device to take photos for their stop motion video. Students will need a charged device; some stand to hold their device still not to shake. Students will need some materials they would like to use in their videos, such as animals, building blocks, miniature people, etc. Blue and/or green paper (construction paper) or fabric (shirt/etc.). Important Information: This class is much easier for students when using a second device. The easiest device is an iPad or iPhone. However, if your child is taking the class with a computer and is trying to use the Stop Motion on that same device, they will need another camera.
