Students will learn fundamental music theory concepts related to melody creation and understand how to apply them in their own songwriting. Students will explore various techniques for creating memorable and emotionally impactful melodies that complement their lyrics. Students will develop their own unique style and sound as a songwriter, and leave the class with the skills and confidence to continue writing and refining their own melodies beyond the course.
