In this writing cafe students will learn how to write an opinion paragraph with reasons, supporting details, and a concluding statement. 

We will start off our opinion latte discussing what facts and opinions are and share examples of each. 

Next, our topic for this session will be introduced: What is the best type of drink? Students will share ideas with each other and brainstorm on their coffee bean brainstorming map. 

After, it will be time to roast up our paragraphs. Step by step, I will assist students in writing each part of their opinion paragraph on their coffee cup graphic organizer. 

Last, learners will share their writing piece and compliment others'. 

With our remaining time together in our coffee cafe, students will decorate, cut, and assemble their coffee cup.

I believe learning should be fun and love to teach in a kind, warm, nurturing environment. I strive to take the stress out of writing. Let's build our writing stamina and have a great time doing it!
