課堂經歷
Spring is a great time to learn new Spanish vocabulary. This class is intended for students at the beginner level, those who have taken less than a year of Spanish or no Spanish. Students will learn by playing an interactive game of Kahoot, acting out words, we will play "I see, I see", repeat and pronounce words, and learn to compose at least 1 sentence with the vocabulary taught. Students will also help read a passage, one that we will read twice and the vocabulary words will be included...
1. Students will learn a list of new vocabulary and phrases. 2. Students will adapt the vocabulary and phrases learned into sentences. 3. Students will be able to read a passage and understand at least 80% of it.
I am currently a full-time Spanish teacher at an independent school. I have been teaching Spanish for over 20 years. Because I am a native of the Dominican Republic, my first language is Spanish so I will pronounce the words exactly how Spanish speakers pronounce it. I am a very energetic teacher who loves to teach and make funny faces throughout the class to keep students laughing. My idea of teaching is that if I make it fun and they enjoy Spanish, they will be interested in learning more.
The teacher will provide a slide show presentation for the student to follow along.
