My years of teaching language arts and serving as an instructional specialist and coach allowed me the opportunity to create and implement lessons that engaged students and allowed them to succeed. Studying Image Grammar by Harry Noden and Mechanically Inclined by Jeff Anderson influenced my thinking as I developed this lesson.
