拼字比賽：一年級單字

Do you like spelling? Come join the class and have fun competing in a friendly spelling bee! Learners will be given a list of words to practice spelling prior to class. We will hold a spelling bee during class each week. Learners will not eliminated if a word is misspelled. Learners can earn points for attempting the word and for spelling the word correctly. Students will be given ample time to spell his/her word. This is a fun way to help students get excited about spelling!  This class is more for first grade students but would also be good for older students needing some additional practice or review. 

Since this is an ongoing class, learners can join the class any week. A list of words will be shared in the classroom by 9 PM EST on Sundays. Please see the schedule below of the themes of the upcoming word lists. 

Week of January 7th - short vowels (a, i)
Week of January 14th - short vowels (o, e, u)
Week of January 21st - l-blends
Week of January 28th - r-blends 
Week of February 4th - s-blends
