In this ongoing class we will increase our Spanish vocabulary through drawing and dialogue. 
 
Each week we will focus on a set of new vocabulary words which we will draw and get to practice in class. 
Week 1: (June 30th) El Verano-The Summer
Week 2: (July 7th) Noche y Dia- Night and Day
Week 3: (July 14) El Cielo- The Sky
Week 4: (July 21) Comida - Food

Class time will consist of vocabulary review (spelling, pronunciation and visual examples) , using the vocabulary in context with translations and a step-by-step guided drawing in immersion. 
*Please note: Drawing instruction will be in all Spanish. Students are NOT expected to understand everything said in this portion of the class. It is meant to provide an immersive experience and an opportunity for additional language acquisition. 

Maestra Zia is a happy teacher who loves to provide positive reinforcement and encourage student participation while instructing and modeling materials in a clear and fun way.  

Students will be encouraged to interact with each other in Spanish and because this is an ongoing class, they will have the opportunity to create rapport if they see each other on a consistent basis. 

No required experience. This is a basic/beginners class that introduces new Spanish language learners to key words in a fun way but also provides other extra language acquisition for them.
