In this ongoing class we will go over an abridged course of Spanish 1. Each week we will continue with going over material that your learner has already learned in school or through online classes. It is necessary that your learner has taken Spanish 1 or several classes in Spanish in order to comprehend and benefit from this class. ***Beginning with determiners for example, El, La, Los, Las, Un, Una, Este, Esta, Esto, Ese, Esa, Eso and how to use them with nouns. Matching grammatical gender and quantity of both determiner and noun. A brief reminder of personal pronouns él, ella, tú, usted, ellos, nosotros, vosotros ***Week two possessive adjetives and possessive pronouns, also a recap of the determiners.. ***Week three we will cover use of verbs and matching the conjugation of verbs with pronouns in verb agreements. The conjugation of verbs with their matching pronouns. ***Week four we will go over the use of common adjectives and going over the grammatical gender and quantity of the adjectives. ***Week five we will go over emotions and necessities for example: Necessities -Tengo hambre, tengo frio, tengo calor Emotions -Estoy feliz, estoy triste, estoy contento ***Week six we will go over use of por/para and differentiate when to use it. ***Week seven we will go over questions, ¿Qué, donde, cuando, como, quién, por qué? ***Week eight we will go over superlatives for example big-grande bigger-más grand biggest el más grande There will be assignments for every week. They will be automatically graded via google forms.

Throughout my life I have been a Spanish teacher, an online ESL teacher, a GED instructor, taught science in my neighborhood community center. I have held many roles as an educator but the role I have enjoyed the most has been as a family man and the educational experiences I have had with the young learners in my life have been the most rewarding. I have always enjoyed reading to them and teaching them new things. I have taught various types of classes from Spanish to basic science and general knowledge classes. I have taught several online classes with great success in subjects ranging from anatomy to astronomy. Currently I have found teaching Spanish on Outschool very rewarding. Outschool lets me share my passion of storytelling. I started developing my storytelling abilities as a very young boy and perfected them once I became a Father of two very young girls. My stories and teaching methods reflect the dynamic I have with my daughters as a single father raising two daughters full time. The challenges and rewards have made me grow into a better person and a better dad. I strive to better myself as an educator and take into consideration all aspects of my learners needs within the classroom.
I have a Bachelor of science in engineering and my work background is in Electrical Engineering, with various other skills and abilities mixed In. I am currently working on my psychology degree with an emphasis on child psychology. My passion for learning and teaching goes hand in hand. I approach every teaching moment as an opportunity to learn as well.
I am an avid trivia enthusiast having competed and winning multiple trivia competitions. Random facts and the pursuit of enlightenment fill my days. If I can share my fun facts and help a child see learning as a fun activity my goal as a teacher is fulfilled.評論
