Hi! Welcome to Travel the World in Spanish! 

This class will help your learner expand their knowledge of geography and culture by visiting different countries around the world each class! We will travel to a new country each week, so your learner can join this class at any time! 

Students will gain a full virtual trip experience in this class. There will be songs and videos to enrich your learner's experience as they travel all over the world virtually! 


This class is taught in Spanish. It is best for advanced speakers of Spanish or bilinguals. 

These are the countries we will visit in July and August: (The names of the countries are listed in Spanish.)

January and February Theme: Latin America
Week of January 7th - Argentina
Week of January 15th - Perú


Each class, your learner will receive a sheet to record key information related to the country. Your learner will also receive a sheet to color during the class. 

There will be discussion throughout the class to discuss the flag, the culture, the language, the accent, types of food. Your learner is encouraged to participate.

Your learner will learn about the symbols of each country, facts, geography, and cultural aspects about the country. 

Some cultural aspects might be:
- the language (learning to say a word in a given language)
- hearing the national anthem of the country
- learning about the comida típica (national foods)

There will be pictures and video clips to enrich the virtual trip experience to each country.
