Overview: Embark on an 8-week Spanish learning journey with "Spanish Summer Adventure: Explore & Learn!" Tailored for young learners in grades K-2, this interactive and dynamic course is designed to introduce and deepen understanding of the Spanish language through cultural immersion and engaging activities. Each 35-minute session combines educational techniques and fun to ensure your child not only learns Spanish effectively but also enjoys the process. Class Structure & Teaching Style: Our course is structured around twice-weekly lessons that build upon each other to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Spanish language and culture. My teaching style is interactive and student-focused, incorporating a variety of teaching methods such as: Direct Instruction: Short, engaging lectures to introduce new topics. Interactive Games: To reinforce learning in a fun, memorable way. Storytime: Utilizing children’s books to enhance language skills. Music and Dance: Incorporating elements of Spanish and Latin American culture through salsa and merengue. Crafts and Role-Playing: To deepen cultural appreciation and practical language use. Learner Interaction: Each class is designed to maximize student interaction through: Group Discussions: Encouraging questions and sharing to foster a collaborative learning environment. Hands-On Activities: Engaging each child with crafts and dances to practice the day's lessons. These materials are included in the course fee and can be printed at home if preferred. Recommended Supplies (Optional but beneficial for an enhanced learning experience): Simple Spanish Children’s Books: Recommended titles will be provided during the first session to aid in language immersion at home.
