西班牙語讀書俱樂部：沉浸式閱讀、寫作與討論

-This class is designed to encourage teenage readers to commit and follow through on finishing a Spanish novel while delving into insightful conversations about the content with peers and practicing their written Spanish through a variety of book related activities.

La Guerra de Los Siete Planetas is a book series about teen boys and girls who find themselves immersed in space adventure where they are the heroes. 

-Learners will read each chapter at home independently and then join the live meetings where we will discuss what was read. 
Students should come to each meeting prepared to converse about the chapters in the order stated below. 
Week 1 - Chapter 1: El Libro & Chapter 2: Lo Inesperado
Week 2 - Chapter 3: La Busqueda & Chapter 4: La Reunión Esperada
Week 3 - Chapter 5: Ráptugas & Chapter 6: El Comienzo
Week 4  -Chapter 7: El Colapsu & Chapter 8: El Reino de Standur
Week 5 - Presentations and Book Review


During each meeting the teacher will lead a time of discussion pertaining to the chapters that were assigned. 
We will cover the following criteria:
-first impressions and questions/answers
-a summary of the assigned reading
-weekly challenges 
-discussions for analysis/critical thinking skills 
-application activity

⭐ Students will be in charge of one challenge activity per week . They should be willing to complete this as homework and come to class prepared to share.
