課堂經歷
In this fun one week camp, students will learn about the major and minor planet in our solar system. We'll talk about what it's like on the surface of the planets, their moons and other orbiting bodies, and discuss how humans have investigated these planets over the course of time (rovers, satellites, telescopes etc). We'll discuss how planets form, and how we believe our solar system came to look the way it does today. We'll also spend time in this camp discussing the future of space...

Students will: learn and discuss the 8 major planets, 5 dwarf planets, and major moons & asteroids of our solar system. Students will learn about different methods of exploring our solar system, and be asked to think creatively about the future of space travel. Learners will create a project, independently exploring a solar body (planet, moon, asteroid, star, etc).
I have a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science & Policy. I have studied atmospheric science extensively and am passionate about sharing the mysteries of space and space travel with young learners.
