Hello & welcome to social studies class! ---------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- Welcome to class. My name is Ms. Cassy! I love to teach social studies, and to make this engaging subject come alive for students. ***In this flex class, students work at their own pace, learning key social studies skills, such as: democracy, voting, the Constitution, and more. Please see the complete syllabus for the entire 12-week curriculum. --------------------------------------------------------- The final week will consist of each student choosing at least one of the following projects to work on: a. Each student will propose a new federal law, and create a poster project related to this new law, which they will present on the classroom wall for positive feedback! b. Students will design a new symbol or flag for their particular state, using creativity
