Learners will be able to identify and describe significant events and figures in U.S. history.
Learners will be able to discuss the contributions and challenges of different groups, including African Americans, immigrants, and Indigenous peoples throughout American history.
Learners will analyze the causes, significant battles, and outcomes of major conflicts such as the American Revolution, the Civil War, and the World Wars.
Learners will analyze the foundational documents of American democracy, such as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
Learners will practice critical thinking by analyzing primary and secondary sources to understand different perspectives on historical events.

I have over twenty years of experience working with and teaching students.  I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics.  My master's degree is in Higher Education.  I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law.  Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!
