- Learners will be able to identify and describe significant events and figures in U.S. history.
- Learners will be able to discuss the contributions and challenges of different groups, including African Americans, immigrants, and Indigenous peoples throughout American history.
- Learners will analyze the causes, significant battles, and outcomes of major conflicts such as the American Revolution, the Civil War, and the World Wars.
- Learners will analyze the foundational documents of American democracy, such as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
- Learners will practice critical thinking by analyzing primary and secondary sources to understand different perspectives on historical events.
I have over twenty years of experience working with and teaching students. I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics. My master's degree is in Higher Education. I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law. Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!

Topics will include information about various historical events and subjects that can be sensitive in nature. All assignments will be kept in an age-appropriate manner. If inappropriate topics are brought up, they will be addressed quickly, and the discussion will be redirected.
