Throughout this course, you will explore the history of the United States. But it's not just about history. You will also explore the value of public service, the traits of good leaders, and other important themes such as geography, economics, civic responsibility, and government. This class will include multiple viewpoints while discussing and learning about historical events and people. Each week, learners will receive a pre-recorded video, guided notes, and thought-provoking assignments designed to inspire curiosity and critical thinking. With a flexible schedule, this course allows students to explore U.S. history at their own pace while building essential skills in analysis and comprehension. Topics will include information about various historical events and subjects that can be sensitive in nature. All assignments will be kept in an age-appropriate manner. If inappropriate topics are brought up, they will be addressed quickly, and the discussion will be redirected.
