Experience an exciting new topic every week in our online small group class. Each session focuses on a fresh social skill, allowing you to join at any point without feeling left behind. Don't worry about starting in the middle – our class structure ensures that each topic stands on its own, providing a valuable learning experience regardless of when you join. Designed with the needs of neurodiverse learners in mind, our class offers step-by-step instructions, visual aids, and practical examples to enhance your social skills. You'll have the opportunity to actively engage in role-playing exercises, receive constructive feedback, and practice the newly acquired skills in a supportive environment. No matter which week you start, you'll enjoy a diverse range of social skills addressed in class conversations facilitated by our experienced teacher. From mastering greetings to coping with fears, each topic aims to empower you with the tools necessary for social success. Join us for an engaging online small group class where every week brings a fresh topic to explore and grow your social skills. How classes are structured: Initial instructions of the new skill Role Playing the Skill Providing Corrective Feedback Opportunities to practice the skill A variety of social skills will be worked on during conversations in class that are prompted by the teacher. Here are some goals that learners will hope to improve on while taken this course: Don't be a Rule Police Space Invaders - provide space to others Interrupting Greetings Listening During a Conversation Maintaining a Conversation Starting a Conversation Ending a Conversation Knowing When to Stop Talking Joining in Play Keeping Calm Showing Understandings of Others Feelings Accepting " No" Dealing with Mistakes Dealing with Teasing Trying when Something is Hard Compromising Dealing with Fears Dealing with Triggers Becoming Flexible when Change Occurs. USA Prestige worldwide has a focus to help learners with Neurodiversity. I have my masters Degree in Special Education, and a life time experience raising adults who are Neurodiverse. Our teachers are trained to work with learners who are Neurodivergent, and have experience with Special Education, as well as worked through life dealing with being Neurodiverse themselves.
