There is no prior experience for this class.  This is an introductory level class that will cover the basic skills and knowledge of social science.  The learner should not feel pressured or worried to research this subject or have prior knowledge.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, a Master's in Social Science, and I am in the last year of my Doctorate in Education.  I have taught biology, science, social science, ESL, and sociology.  

I have taught both sociology and social science at a university.  I took the material that I used and made it age and content appropriate.

The Learner will have independent writing assignments each week that will take up to at least an hour for the duration of the 4 weeks.  The amount of time spent depends on the Learner and the amount of effort they choose to put into their assignments.
