What's your favorite soccer team? Join me and other students as we examine a soccer team. We will read and discuss a soccer team's history, dive into some of the positions and players, analyze the overall situation, and thoroughly chat about some of our favorite soccer teams. The team will have a student-led discussion about the biggest storylines of certain soccer teams. I will conduct the class and ensure that the discussion is free-flowing, appropriate, and fun! - Social Skills: Students will be able to meet other students with a passion for soccer! In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills. - Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of a soccer team and be able to express their analysis of the team. - Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the soccer.
I have played, coached, and now analyzed football for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different football teams in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, MLS, and Liga MX.
