What's your favorite soccer team? Join me and other students as we examine a soccer team. We will read and discuss a soccer team's history, dive into some of the positions and players, analyze the overall situation, and thoroughly chat about some of our favorite soccer teams. The team will have a student-led discussion about the biggest storylines of certain soccer teams. I will conduct the class and ensure that the discussion is free-flowing, appropriate, and fun! Watching each and every game is not necessary, but an added bonus. My goal is for everyone to be included in the conversation and learn something new from one another. Feel free to wear your favorite jersey! Some activities we may do in class are: Trivia Ranking Teams Ranking Players Discussing certain positions Discussing certain philosophies

- Social Skills: Students will be able to meet other students with a passion for soccer! In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills.
- Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of a soccer team and be able to express their analysis of the team.
- Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the soccer.

I have played, coached, and now analyzed football for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different football teams in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, MLS, and Liga MX. 評論
