學習需求
Yoga offers unique kinesthetic opportunities for kids who have ADHD and autism. It increases coordination, body awareness, focus, flexibly, and muscle strength. Yoga also helps give them greater self-confidence and ways to reduce anxiety.

There is always a risk of injury for physical activities. Please encourage your child to follow instructions and move how it feels most comfortable. Don't go beyond your limits. Please have water available to drink during class.

I have taught Kids Yoga, Family Yoga, and Baby Toddler Me Yoga since 2012. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I am a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. I've taught Kids Yoga with Parks & Recreation, Camp Kum-Ba-Yah summer camp and after-school program, and STEM camps. I taught weekly in-person and online Kids Yoga at Governors Charter Academy for 4 yrs. Kids Yoga is my passion! Plus, I love to read! My kids loved the Magic Treehouse series. This series was specifically designed for two of my Kids Yoga students who loved reading it. I can't wait to share it with your kiddos!
