Are you stuck inside on a snow day?! Come write poetry with us!

In this poetry writing class, we'll be using snow and all things winter-related to inspire our writing. I begin this class sharing three poetry forms learners may to choose from to create their poetic masterpieces. Each form is presented with its key features, and learners are invited to share their experiences with the forms and to ask questions about their defining features. 

After an introduction to the poetry forms to choose from, we'll get our creative juices flowing by writing poems ourselves! Our writing time will be in the form of a workshop with learners working both independently and in collaboration with fellow learners and the teacher. To close the class those learners who would like to are invited to share their creations. 

This class includes teacher presentation and learner participation.
