If your child loves music they will love this class. It will be a fun hands-on interactive class. We will keep the same format and routine for each class, so that your child learns what to expect, but each week we will learn one new element. Each child will be engaged individually, as they are ready. My hope is that your child will learn to love to sing, clap, play instruments and engage in music. However, not all kids do this right away, they sometimes learn by observing, and more often than not you will hear your child sing the songs and clap the beat or rhythms well after the class is finished. My goal is to engage your child to feel comfortable doing this on screen or off screen.
If you have rhythmic instruments, that’s great, but if you don’t see the list below: Rhythm sticks - wooden spoons or anything you can tap together Shaker - fill a small container with rice, beans, beads or popcorn kernels Drum - a pot or plastic container with a round bottom Scarf - fashion scarf or dish towel that can wave through the air for movement Stuffie - favourite stuffie
