Hello, this lesson a bespoke small group tuition class - all content catered to your child's academic needs. We can cover skills such as reading, science, exam prep, reading comprehension, writing etc. Whether your child needs to be challenged and extended in their learning or if they would like more time to work on an area of learning, I can plan a lesson to suit. I am an experienced primary / elementary school teacher and head of year with over 20 years in the classroom. I have proven success in helping children progress in their academic journey. I pride myself on ensuring that the materials are educational and engaging and that children leave the lesson knowing more than they started. Progressing and moving forward with confidence. Resources will be uploaded to the classroom prior to the class. Students may need a notebook to keep any notes from the lesson that they find useful - this is optional. Usually learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools. However, if you would like to book regular sessions we may use the following apps: Google Slides / Nearpod / YouTube / Jamboard In order to access some of the resources you will need to have access to a Google account so that students can view and edit slides and activities. There may be some embedded videos that take students to Youtube. Nearpod: You will need to ensure that students are on the nearpod.com/student website or have the app downloaded, they do not need an account just have access the website and then they will simply enter the code that I will provide with students first name and last initial and you can participate in the lesson by completing the questions on the screen and I will see the response.

There will be times that I will send links to useful videos. In order to access some of the resources you will need to have access to Youtube. You will not need to have a Youtube account and the links will be sent through the. Outschool platform. Children will need to be supervised when watching Youtube videos, YouTube’s Terms of Service You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service; however, children of all ages may use the Service and YouTube Kids (where available) if enabled by a parent or legal guardian. Permission by Parent or Guardian If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service. Please have them read this Agreement with you. World Wildlife Fund The website worldwildlife.org is the official website of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), an international organization dedicated to protecting wildlife and preserving natural habitats around the world. The website provides information about the WWF's conservation efforts.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools, however if we progress with multiple lessons there may be times to use Google Slides / Nearpod / Youtube / Google Jamboard which are listed below.
