This is a continuation of Slang for English Language Learners: Part I. Through open discussions, school appropriate memes, and small assignments, students will acquire knowledge on slang. We will take a deep dive into slang and how you can appropriately use it! You may be wondering, how is learning slang useful? Learning slang helps language learners connect with native speakers on a cultural and personal level. It is an important step to take in language acquisition. Students will be able to recall the definitions of the slang words they learn and apply this to in-class activities.Students will be able to appropriately use the slang words they learn from this lesson.
