課堂經歷
In this ongoing art class students will learn some fun techniques to draw some realistic and beautiful flower drawings. Students will be guided through the projects at a relaxed pace allowing for instruction, conversation and making friends with others who have similar interests. There are no prerequisite classes or skills. We will be using pencils, blending stumps, kneaded erasers and rub sponges. Students will learn some simple blending and shading techniques and practice some simple but fun art. Each week we will practice sketching a different flower. Flower selection may at times be student directed. Week of Nov. 14th – Peonies Week of Nov. 21st – Poppies Week of Nov. 28th – Sunflowers Week of Dec. 5th – Wild Roses Week of Dec. 12th – Echinacea

Students will learn some fun new techniques for drawing, shading, blending etc. as they get creative with their classmates.

Students should come to class with paper (multiple sheets), pencils, and erasers. Blending stumps, kneaded eraser, and a rub sponge are very much a plus but not required.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
I believe I have a LOT to bring to the classroom and I’m EXCITED to begin on this journey in learning with you! I hope to see YOU in my classroom soon!
