新加坡維度 - 1:1 客製化課程

I am a certified teacher and have taught math for over 16 years. I taught Math Intervention to struggling learners for 12 of those 16 years. I incorporate visual learning with practice and repetition to ensure understanding of a topic before moving on to the next. My teaching style is very straightforward without a lot of bells and whistles. We will have 1:1 instruction with modeling, practice and independent practice. I use the “I do, we do, you do” approach to learning as well as incorporate Singapore Learn, Do techniques.  

For the topics of this class, you will provide an area of concern (for example, "fractions" or more specifically "multiplying fractions") and I will prepare practice material to teach them. If you are not sure of the specifics and can give a general topic, then I can do a quick assessment of your child's knowledge and build on what they know. If you do not have a specific area of concern, you can also tell me the grade level and I will choose topics. This is a 1:1 class that meets 1x a week for 4 weeks.
