In this multi-day course, students will learn the names of various colors in Spanish. We will sing, we will play, we will learn Spanish! In our first class, we will: - Learn a song with the new vocabulary words "red", "blue", and "yellow" in Spanish. - Find colors around our home with a "Find something ____." game! - Learn how to use a simple sentence to describe an object by color. "La manzana es roja." In our second class, we will: - Learn a song with the new vocabulary words "green", "orange", "pink", and "purple" in Spanish. - Find colors around our home with a "Find something ____." game! - Learn how to use a simple sentence to describe an object by color. "El cerdo es rosado." - Learn how to use a simple sentence to describe a group of objects by color. "Las uvas son moradas." In our third class, we will: - Learn a song with the new vocabulary words "black", "white", "grey", and "brown" in Spanish. - Find colors around our home with a "Find something ____." game! - Learn how to use a simple sentence to describe an object by color. "El gato es negro." - Learn how to use a simple sentence to describe an object by more than one color. "La vaca es blanca y negra." This class is designed for beginners and no previous knowledge of the Spanish language is necessary. Teacher will speak in English and Spanish throughout the class and will guide students to appropriately answer questions in Spanish! Get ready for some fun!

Hi! My name is Nikki, and I am a world traveling, language loving, bilingual teacher. I am passionate about teaching children about the world around them and encouraging them to be the best little humans they can be.
I am a certified early childhood education teacher, have my TEFL certificate to work with English language learners, and am fluent in both English and Spanish. I have over 9 years of teaching experience and have taught in Ecuador, Colombia, and the US. I have also been teaching virtually for the past 4 years. Over the years, I have combined my passion for travel, culture, languages, and teaching to create one of a kind virtual classes for students around the world.
What's the best way to learn? By having FUN! My classes are designed to get students singing, dancing, moving, speaking, laughing, and ultimately learning. I understand that not every child learns the same and I keep in mind the visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learner. I encourage questions and conversation and know that students learn best when they feel they are in a safe, comfortable learning environment.
