- Each week, the student will be presented with one of the five senses. We will address who, what, when, where, why, and how of each of the five senses. For example, “Who can you see? What can you see? Where can you see? When can we see?”

Collection of objects to work with each week: Apple or other fruit Toy or real musical instrument Real flower Kinetic sand Popcorn or other edible item Cinnamon stick or other fragrant item Blocks Colored markers or crayons Musical instrument (drum, tambourine, bells, maraca) Mr. Potato Head OR Mrs. Potato Head Colored paper II. Additional supplies (Other items to be determined as needed each week.) Sight: mirror, colored paper, colored objects in the home, bubbles Smell: A. orange slices, vanilla bean, cinnamon stick, banana, onion, and bubble gum), B. markers, masking tape, plastic containers and lids, and scissors. C. Cookies to bake Taste: blindfold, different flavors of popcorn or other food item that can be flavored (salty, sweet, bitter, and/or sour Hear: musical instruments Touch: playdough, finger paint
As per Outschool policy, only the student should be in the classroom screen. The parent can assist and prompt the student while being offscreen.
