Sight Words Fun（每週 2 次）- 小組 - 閱讀、唱歌、寫作、搜尋和著色

In this ongoing class that meets 2x a week (Mondays and Wednesdays for now), students will listen to stories from the Curious George Sight Words book series and the Sight Words Tale book series, we will sing songs, trace the words, color the sight words in a picture, and find the sight words in a word search puzzle. There will be a worksheet that will need to be printed for each class. The pdf file can be found in the classroom in the comments the week of the class.

We will focus on 4-5 new sight words per class. Your child will be encouraged to sing along, trace the words, find the words in the pictures and puzzles, as well as talk about the words we are learning that day. There are only 4 spots available per class because I like to interact with each student to help them build confidence and feel special. Since this is an ongoing class, you can drop in and out for any of the weeks. I hope to see your child in this class soon!

1. We will sing the hello song and greet each other.
2. I will read a Curious George book or a Sight Words Tale book.
3. I will show the students the sight words on flashcards and in sentences.
4. We will sing a song with the sight words of the day.
5. We will trace the sight words on the worksheet.
6. We will use different colors to color the sight words in the picture on the worksheet.
7. We will find the sight words in a word search puzzle.  
8. We will sing the song again.
9. Students will take turns showing off their work on the worksheet.
10. We will sing the goodbye song.

Week 1 Monday: Sight Words (a, and, here, is, the)
Week 1 Wednesday: Sight Words (me, with, one, two, three)
Week 2 Monday: Sight Words (can, come, jump, ride, run)
Week 2 Wednesday: Sight Words (down, in, little, out, up)
Week 3 Monday: Sight Words (do, help, it, now, to)
Week 3 Wednesday: Sight Words (find, play, see, where, you)
Week 4 Monday: Sight Words (big, good, on, want, was)
Week 4 Wednesday: Sight Words (black, brown, color, funny, will)
Week 5 Monday: Sight Words (blue, he, make, she, they)
Week 5 Wednesday: Sight Words (about, all, look, there, words)
We will switch to the Sight Words Tale book series for the next 5 weeks.
