Does you child love talking about their favorite toys? In this ongoing show and tell class, young children are invited to bring their favorite toy related to the theme of the week to share with their peers. Students are encouraged and prompted to use descriptive language (color, size, feel, etc) to talk about their toy, as well as ask questions to other students about their toys. Conversations will be facilitated by the teacher, but students are encouraged to speak freely as if they were...
Students will learn descriptive words and practice asking questions and using social skills.
This class is meant to have open conversation throughout the class. It can be tricky for young ones to understand muting/unmuting their microphones, so I welcome them to just leave them on (unmute) so that they can speak freely! It's a small group which means everyone will have time to speak. If background noise is an issue, I will manually mute your child and prompt them to unmute when they are ready to speak. Students may need help before class picking a toy that is appropriate for the category.
