In this class we will work together to sew a skirt for 18" dolls. Prior to beginning class students must already be familiar with threading and basic functions of their sewing machine. Day 1: Picking your fabric - we will discuss types of fabric and what fabrics are appropriate for this project. Finding coordinationg fabrics will be a major learning point for this project. Home made bias binding can be used instead if preferred (1” wide flat width bias strips).

The instructor will be using an older version of this machine: https://amzn.to/2XtCcsY Students are responsible for knowing how to turn on, and thread their spacific machine prior to beginning class. If you need help with these steps often craft store employees (who you can meet with personally) and/or youtube videos are of great assistance. Please let the instructor know prior to class if you are still struggling and we will find a way to help.
