What will be taught? The entire biology curriculum. The standards can be found here: https://www.dpi.nc.gov/media/4070/open What topics will be covered? Ecological Relationships and Energy Transfer, Macromolecules, Cells (structure/function), Cell Transport, Cell Energy, Genetics (Mitosis, Meiosis, Protein Synthesis, Human Genetics), Evolution, and Classification. All materials will be provided. I will share the digital notebooks on Sundays by @ 10PM EST. Students should expect feedback at...
Over the duration of the semester, students will gain a firm understanding of biology. I will follow the North Carolina Standards in Biology which are linked above.

Classwork/Homework time does depend on the learner. In the past, I have given an assignment that takes one person 20 minutes, but may take an hour for another. My lesson videos provide lots of in depth help and the notebook pages are meant to solidify that new knowledge. Projects: Students will have the option to work solo or with a partner in the class. Occasionally we will do in-class research projects and students will work together in the meeting on that assignment. This is really dependent on student enrollment numbers.4+ 每週課外時間

The learner will receive a letter grade and numerical from formal assessments (tests at the end of the unit). Students will also be given feedback "grades" in their digital notebook. I can set up a gradebook upon request!提供的成績

All materials will be provided. I will share the digital notebooks on Sundays @ 8PM EST. Google Slides and Google Forms -- will be used to presentations, assignments, and lectures. These items will be posted within the classroom. Edpuzzle - Students will need an account. This will be used to help students pay attention to the important points from a video. Youtube -- Will be used to monitor video watching and in-depth questioning to make sure the learner is focused on the right concepts within the video. Students will need to make a free account. Flipgrid -- Will be used for some project presentations. Students will need to make a free account. All videos provided will be educational and will be a direct correlation to what we are learning in class.
