This module promotes self-directed video learning, allowing students to build their confidence and independence. Learners will identify and trace alphabet letters in sand, and participate in a three-step dictation process that includes naming the letter, forming it, and articulating its sound as they trace and write on their boards or lined paper. A multisensory approach is employed to enhance a child's ability to form letters through explicit teaching, ensuring cognitive retention and long-lasting learning benefits. Each lesson is structured to be completed in 25–30 minutes. It is crucial for learners to adhere to the detailed instructions provided in each lesson. Focusing on one lesson at a time in a sequential order is highly recommended, with the aim of mastering all letters over a five-week period. Engage in a dynamic video class experience where you will receive continuous support every step of the way. I warmly welcome parents to connect with me at their convenience.
學習目標
The primary goal is to introduce and refine penmanship skills for individual lowercase letters, helping learners become proficient writers.

超過 5 週課 1:
Lowercase C Starter Letters
In L1, I lay out the essential rules and guidelines for our penmanship class, ensuring that everyone understands what is needed for effective participation. We cover and practice firm pencil grasp and appropriate body posture. Following this, I introduce the lowercase letter starters: c, o, a, d, g, and q. This course employs a "I do, you do" approach to help students become skilled writers. Learners will begin by tracing letters in the sand before transferring to their paper or white board.
課 2:
Anticlockwise Letters
L2 introduces the letters e, f, s, and z, which are written in an anticlockwise direction. At the start of the lesson, I demonstrate the concept of moving anticlockwise and guide students on how to position their paper for optimal writing stability. In this lesson, learners will begin by tracing in the sand, then transition to using their lined whiteboards or the supplied white paper. This lesson further enhances hand-eye coordination and highlights the hand movements involved in writing.
課 3:
Diagonal Letters
In L3, we explore the diagonal letters: v, w, x, and y. Each lesson begins with a specific expectation. After I present the material, students will trace and write on their whiteboards or paper. It's beneficial for them to practice tracing and printing as many letters as possible. By the end of this lesson, they will have a solid control of their pencils, which will improve their writing fluidity.
課 4:
Tall Letters
During L4, we explore the tall letters: l, k, b, t, and h. I guide students through the starting points and formation of each letter. As they continue to practice, learners will trace and print with clarity and strength, building on their existing skills.
