This fifteen-week online Algebra course will fulfill the second semester of a high school Algebra. 
**Note that this section has three extra meetings scheduled. We will only meet 30 times. The extra three meeting are scheduled in case I need to take a day off due to illness.

The students will learn content typically included in the second semester of a high school Algebra class. 

Learners will learn to:
 Simplify expressions with exponents, including zero and negative exponents using the power properties.
 Graphing exponential functions and growth/decay word problems.
 Add, subtract, and multiply polynomials.
 Find the GCF, and completely factor binomials, trinomials, and polynomials with for terms.
 Identify quadratics, and features of a quadratic function.
 Graph and solve quadratic functions.
 Simplify radical expressions.
 Add, subtract, multiply, and divide radical expressions, including rationalizing the denominator.
 Solve radical equations, including ones which contain an extraneous solution.
 

When we meet in class, I review previous material with an engaging activity, answer student questions, and teach new material. Students are encouraged to actively participate with via various methods, even anonymously if they are shy. Students are expected to complete practice assignments between classes. Optional tests will be provided upon request.
