As young children code with ScratchJr, they learn how to create and express themselves with the computer, not just to interact with it. In the process, children learn to solve problems and design projects, and they develop sequencing skills that are foundational for later academic success. They also use math and language in a meaningful and motivating context, supporting the development of early-childhood numeracy and literacy. With ScratchJr, children aren't just learning to code, they are coding to learn. This course is designed to give kids introduction to new features of Scratch Jr. and the basic concepts of coding. This course consist of 6 different sessions. After completing these sessions kids can make their own stories, games and animation in scratch Jr. **********Please download the android / iOs version from www.scratchjr.org on your tablets************ Day 1: Pokemon Character introduction story - Learners will use the paint editor to make their favourite Pokemon characters and then use them in the codes. Day 2: Pokemon Race - Write a program to race your Pokemons in different zones to see who wins Day 3: Find the Pokemon - the Pokemons are hiding and you need to find them in this game - learning how to use the hide and show buttons Day 4: Pokemon Story - Create you own version of the Pokemon story and learn animation Day 5: Pokemon Maze - Learn how to make a maze game . This is a fun an interactive class .We recommend student has one device for lesson and the other for coding , however we will teach the student to share their screen id needed during the lesson.
