刮刮遊戲設計：Among Us Dash

In this lesson young coders will learn how to animate Among Us themed characters in Scratch, the world's most popular programming language for children! Children will be making a game where a crewmember will be running to finish his/her tasks (catch the rockets) while avoiding any obstacles in his/her way. 

The course is at a beginner to intermediate level for children. It is designed to introduce learners to the wonderful world of programming! Learning to code early teaches young minds problem solving skills, creativity and how to visualize their thoughts. These skills can be applied to every other subject they learn. 

The class will follow the following agenda: 

-The lesson will begin by introducing Scratch: how to remix projects, name them and save them
-Basic coding concepts will be discussed
-Children will learn how to choose, edit and animate their characters through step by step instructions 
-Children will learn how to share their projects

Coding Concepts Covered: 
- Loops
- Conditionals (IF/THEN/ELSE)
-  Object Oriented Programming (Sprites)
- Messages between sprites to run commands
- Cloning
- Velocity (along the x and y axes)
- Adding sound effects
- Adding animations
- Events

Teaching Methodology: 

Our approach is project-based. We strongly believe that engaged, happy students are the best learners. We use coding to solve problems. We have up to 6 student in this class, allowing the class to be interactive with lots of opportunities to ask questions and share knowledge.
