MIT developed Scratch 3.0 is a fun way to learn the basics of coding. Students in this course would have double the fun when they learn how to create video games while incorporating their favourite Pokemon characters. This level requires prior coding experience on scratch or you could take the level 1 of the same series. Please ensure you have a free scratch account created before the class. The class will follow as: Day 1 :Pokemon Pong - Catch the pokemons in the Pokeball while playing pong. This game helps learners use variables , the x and y coordinates for movement and forever loops. Day 2 and 3 - Pokemon Platformer- Learners create a platformer game and understand how a moving backdrop and platform works. They use nested loops and cloning effect in this game creation. Day 4 and 5 - Pokemon Animation Battle - Learners create a battle out tournament and learn how to make a 2 player game. This class is interactive and the learners can choose their own pokemon character for game creations.
