*Ongoing Book Club coming in January * In this one-time class, students will discuss a Scooby Doo book from the series written by James Gelsey. This series of books is for beginners to chapter books and includes illustrations throughout the story that helps to animate the story for readers! Students read the book outside of class time to allow time in class to discuss the book and complete a fun drawing activity related to the book. The discussion will be guided by a slideshow and include open-ended questions and multiple-choice questions as a guide. The topics of discussion will also be dependent on learner's ideas. This class is focused on Scooby Doo and the Snow Monster by James Gelsey. This book can be found online to purchase a physical copy or a digital (Kindle) copy. *This class is set to flexible age range. If you have any questions, please send me a message. Thank you! Hello! My name is Ms. C. I am so excited to see you in my Outschool classroom! I offer many classes related to dogs, wildlife, science, reading, and writing. I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
