課堂經歷
In this class, learners will get to know the work and life of French artist Henri Matisse and will create a paper cutout collage in the style of the artist. I will be showing real pictures of the artist's work, and pictures of him at different times of his life. Then there will be time for discussion, comments and questions. After that, we will be creating an original masterpiece together inspired by Henri Matisse's paper cut outs. If time permits, I will read a book at the end of class....
I've been teaching this class once a year for 7 years as part of my Montessori history curriculum. My early childhood students love it!
Glue stick Children's scissors with round ends Construction paper in different colors for cutting or colorful pages of a magazine. Please cut them in half for learners 4 years old. 1 uncut piece of construction paper or copy paper to use as background where cutouts will be pasted.
