Learning about the weather is a great way to get kids interested in nature and science because weather affects our lives every day. In this one time class, your child will learn about the formation of tropical cyclones, when and where they occur, the Saffir-Simpson scale, and other tropical cyclone topics. I have taught kids of all ages as a public school teacher and as a private instructor with my local homeschool organization. I have taught high school meteorology, and I enjoy learning about the weather. I hold a teacher's certification in the state of Texas.
