In this one-time class, learners will join Teacher Jolene for a read-aloud of Owls by Laura Marsh. Teacher Jolene will help lead through this non-fiction book about owls with discussion, a circle map (schema) and tree map (can; are; have), a direct draw, and simple writing about owls. Learners will be asked to share their direct drawing and writing with Teacher Jolene and class.
