Learners will be completing some of their project at home. Each week, except for week 1) there will be an assigned part of the project to work on before the next class.  I recommend learners spent at least an hour a week on their prep work. The following assignments are due each week.

At Home Assignments Due Dates
Week 2: Scientific questions activity. Have project idea narrowed down.
Week 3: Identify Hypothesis and Variables
Week 5: Research outline due 
Week 6: Present Projects-- Presentations can be live using a poster/trifold board or digital and presented during class.

Learners can use https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects/science-projects to research project ideas. The projects can be sorted by age/grade/interests/etc. This is only one possible source. Learners are free to use parent/guardian approved books, website or their interest/hobby to come up with a project.
