Learners should try to complete some of the practice and review exercises for each lesson. I recommend getting the Solutions Manual (Saxon Algebra 1, 3rd Edition, Solutions Manual). It contains step-by-step solutions to every problem in the textbook. This is a great way for learners and parents to check answers and get a full understanding of how to solve each problem.
