In this one time class, learners will explore how to write a properly formatted persuasive paragraph through the magic of the holidays! They will explore persuasive techniques, discuss the presents they would like to receive for the holidays, and write a paragraph trying to persuade Santa to give them one of their chosen presents. Learners will leave this class with an introductory understanding of persuasive techniques they can use in their writing and an understanding of paragraph formatting. This will give them an entry point to create their own persuasive paragraph on any topic!
